'Shinde did not want MNS to join Mahayuti...', Raj Thackeray told party leaders

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena President Raj Thackeray had called a meeting of his party officials at his home Shivtirtha on Tuesday. In this meeting, a plan was made to establish a coordination committee for the upcoming Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections and to form an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 16 Municipal Corporation elections of the state.

According to sources, Raj Thackeray said that the alliance with Mahayuti could not be formed in this assembly elections because Eknath Shinde did not want him to join this alliance. Officials of Raj Thackeray's party want their party to form an alliance with BJP in the upcoming local Swaraj institutions elections.

What is BJP's thinking regarding civic elections?

According to sources, Bharatiya Janata Party also wants that it should get Raj Thackeray's face and staunch Hindu-Marathi brand in the municipal elections so that the votes of Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena can be converted into BJP grand alliance. On the other hand, tomorrow, on January 8 and January 9, a 2-day meeting of Sharad Pawar's NCP party will be held at YB Chavan Auditorium in South Mumbai.

Most of the leaders of Sharad Pawar's party want their party to merge with Ajit Pawar. Ajit Pawar's party NCP had performed well in this assembly elections. In this 2-day meeting, Sharad Pawar will also consult with his party leaders on this topic.

Sharad Pawar is not ready to go with Ajit Pawar

It is possible that on January 9, Sharad Pawar may present his views openly in front of the media, but according to sources, Sharad Pawar is not ready to merge his party with Ajit Pawar or go with him. There is also news that Ajit Pawar himself will go to Delhi and meet big leaders of BJP.
