Police took action in Jaisalmer and arrested a fake RAS officer. The fake RAS officer was pretending to be an officer in front of the police constable outside Sonar Fort in Jaisalmer. When Jaisalmer SP Sudhir Chaudhary caught this fake RAS officer, he was traveling in a red light vehicle, which also had Rajasthan Government written on it. When SP Sudhir Chaudhary asked him for his ID card, he also showed his ID card, which upon investigation was found to be fake.

The youth was identified as 32-year-old Harjeet Singh. Harjeet Singh had reached Jaisalmer a day before and on Monday evening, he got into an argument with the constable for parking his car in a no-parking zone at the gate of Sonar Fort in Jaisalmer. At this time, SP Sudhir Chaudhary in plain uniform was out on patrol. When he was passing near Sonar Fort, he saw that Harjeet Singh, who was traveling in a car with red light, was having an argument with the constable.

When the SP became suspicious, he reached near the vehicle with red light. He asked for ID card from Harjeet Singh. After the suspicion deepened, the police took him to the nearby Kotwali police station, where Harjeet Singh identified himself as an RAS officer resident of Ajmer. He also told that he is the proprietor of a media house. When the police strictly interrogated Harjeet Singh, he confessed to being a fake officer. The police have arrested him and now started investigation.

Fake RAS officer used to walk with full status

Harjeet Singh not only claimed to be an RAS officer, but for this, he also installed a multi-coloured red beacon on his Ajmer numbered private Innova, which is used by government officials, police officers and people working in emergency situations. Was. Along with this, a red colored State Motors badge was also written on the vehicle and Rajasthan Government was also written on it.

Harjeet had also made a fake ID card to identify himself as an RAS officer. Wherever he went, he would pretend to be an RAS officer. Even at the toll booth on the highway, he would pass through the VIP gate without paying the toll. Harjeet Singh had reached Jaisalmer only on Monday and at around 9:00 pm, when he was bullying the police constable about being an RAS officer, outside Sonar Fort, he was suspected.

RAS officer's ID created in a fake manner

Police said that Harjeet Singh is a graduate and a resident of Ajmer. Harjeet admitted that he had made the ID fake and the red stripe of the motor garage was also made wrongly. He also misused red lights at all toll points. Although information is not available as to how much fraud the young man committed by posing as a RAS officer and for how long has he been doing it, but this is a big incident of roaming around in the border area posing as a fake RAS officer.
