OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13R launched in India with AI features, Qualcomm chips

Delhi Delhi. OnePlus 13 has finally arrived in international markets along with OnePlus 13R. OnePlus' latest flagship smartphone uses Qualcomm's latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which is claimed to offer better performance and power-saving capabilities than the previous generation. OnePlus has also doubled down on Artificial Intelligence-based features in its new flagship, allowing users to use features like AI Detail Boost, AI Unblur, AI Reflect Eraser, and AI Notes as part of the OxygenOS 15 update.

OnePlus 13 price in India, specifications

OnePlus 13 comes in three configurations. The variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at ₹69,999. Customers can buy the higher variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage for ₹76,999, while the top-end variant with 24GB RAM and 1TB storage will be available for ₹89,999. The OnePlus 13 comes in Midnight Ocean with Vegan Leather finish, Black Eclipse, and Arctic Dawn colors. OnePlus 13 sale will begin from January 10 across online and offline shopping platforms including OnePlus Stores, Amazon, and Vijay Sales. Customers can get Rs 5,000 off on purchases using ICICI Bank cards.

Overall, the OnePlus 13 is one of the flagship phones of 2025, which means it is meant for customers who want great performance and features. It will compete with smartphones like Vivo X200 and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25. The most significant upgrade on the OnePlus 13 compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus 12, is the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The smartphone features a 6.82-inch Fluid AMOLED display with 2K resolution, variable refresh rate up to 120Hz, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness. It runs Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 out of the box, which brings new AI features and a new parallel processing performance booster that makes transitioning between apps smoother. The OnePlus 13 packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired and 50W fast wireless charging standards.

OnePlus has upgraded the cameras of OnePlus 13. At the back, it sports a 50MP main camera with PDAF and OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and a 50MP ultrawide camera with PDAF. The cameras use Hasselblad's algorithms for color accuracy and richness, as well as allowing users to choose from a number of exclusive filters. Its selfie camera uses a 32MP shooter with HDR support. While the rear camera supports video recording up to 8K, the front shooter can record videos up to 4K@60fps.

The trimmed-down version of OnePlus 13 is priced at ₹42,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version. Customers can buy the variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage for ₹49,999. The colorways are called Nebula Noir and Astral Trail. Its sale will start from January 13 at online and retail stores across the country. ICICI Bank cardholders can get up to ₹3,000 off on any variant.

Although the OnePlus 13R is less powerful than the OnePlus 13, it may attract customers looking for a mid-range phone with advanced features. As a trade-off, the OnePlus 13R uses the previous-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM. It features a 6.78-inch 2.5K LTPO AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. On the back, the smartphone sports a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera, while its selfie camera uses a 16MP snapper with HDR support. The OnePlus 13R packs a 6100mAh battery that supports 100W fast wired charging.
