Jan. 8, Patna On Tuesday, Dilip Jaiswal, the president of the Bihar BJP, stated his unwavering support for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, calling him a “ship” that would enable anybody boarding it to “reach the shore.”
He made these statements in reaction to persistent political rumors and remarks about the leadership of the Chief Minister.
Jaiswal told reporters in Patna, “Nitish Kumar is a ship. It is open to everyone who wants to board and to anyone who wishes to depart. Whoever boards the ship will cross the river, in our opinion.
The state BJP president denied the assertions that Prashant Kishor was associated with the BJP as a “B-team” when questioned about them, stating that they were unimportant.
“A, B, or C teams, according to some. It makes no difference. The administration is led by Nitish Kumar, and we are progressing under his direction.”
Jaiswal did not explicitly address recent remarks made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the position of Bihar Chief Minister.
Rather, the State BJP President said, “Why are you inquiring about Delhi? I am the Bihar BJP’s State President. I don’t do predictions. We would run in the Assembly elections under the direction of Nitish Kumar, who is our leader.”
Without naming them, Jaiswal made political jabs at RJD leaders Tejashwi and Lalu Yadav, mocking their ambitions to regain control of Bihar.
“They are dreaming of coming into power, but it won’t happen in Bihar,” he said.
Bihar Food Supply Minister Leshi Singh echoed Jaiswal’s remarks by highlighting the NDA’s strength under CM Nitish Kumar’s direction.
“Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is associated with the NDA. He doesn’t need an opposition certificate. As part of the Pragati Yatra, our Chief Minister is actively touring the areas in spite of the cold.
Singh accused opposition politicians of attempting to become relevant via student politics and criticized them for remarks they made against Nitish Kumar.
“The NDA’s health won’t be impacted by the remarks made by the opposition leaders against us. The people’s support for Nitish Kumar will not alter, regardless of what the opposition says,” she remarked.
