“One Nation One Election Bill will go towards One Party One Election and One Leader One Election,” Raut told the media before to the first Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) meeting on the measure. Therefore, we have all opposed the Bill, even the INDIA Alliance.

The measure will be thoroughly addressed during today’s JPC meeting. Raut affirmed that the INDIA Alliance and other opposition members will be fully involved in the conference. “JPC has received the bill. All of our personnel will be present at its first meeting, which is being held today,” he said.

PP Chaudhary, a member of parliament and BJP politician, is the head of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on “One Nation, One Election.” He has expressed optimism that the JPC members would reach an agreement.

According to him, the JPC would work to come to an agreement and examine the measures in a “unbiased” way. Chaudhary emphasized that all parties involved in this issue would be heard by the parliamentary panel.

“We will make an attempt to hear from individuals in all sectors, including the court, civic groups, and political parties. We would want to hear from everyone. We shall review the government’s proposed legislation objectively and with an open mind. Given the distinguished characteristics of the committee members, we shall endeavor to come to an agreement. Chaudhary told the reporters, “I have faith that we will work for the nation’s interest and reach a consensus.”

He went on to say that on the first day of the meeting today, the participants would get a briefing from the relevant ministry. In order to decide how to proceed, the BJP MP said that they will consider everyone’s viewpoint.

“The relevant ministry will inform the members on the first day, which is today. Everyone’s thoughts on how to proceed step-by-step will be considered. In order to get to an agreement that serves the interests of the country, we will continue to be open and work across party lines,” Chaudhary said.

Members from the Lok Sabha, including Congress leaders Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Manish Tewari, NCP’s Supriya Sule, TMC’s Kalyan Banerjee, and BJP’s PP Chaudhary, Bansuri Swaraj, and Anurag Singh Thakur, are expected to discuss the ‘One Nation, One Election’ Bill with the JPC.
The panel also includes members of the Rajya Sabha.
