Pascal, a French lady of 65, has traveled to Prayagraj to take part in the Kumbh Mela.
Pascal, who lives in France, has been attracted to Hinduism since she was a little girl. She knows the Bhagavad Gita and Puranas and worships Lord Shiva as her idol.
“I’m really attached to Lord Shiva and the Hindu faith. I have no justification for expressing my Hinduism. I feel this from the bottom of my heart,” Pascal told ANI.
When Pascal traveled to India for the first time in 1984, she became acquainted with Hinduism. She is so enamored with the Sanatan tradition as a result of her encounters that she is thinking about becoming a sadhu.
Pascal shared her in-depth understanding of the Kumbh Mela and its importance, including the drop of Amrit and the tale of Samudra Manthan. “I have comprehensive knowledge of Samudra Manthan and am well-versed in Kumbh Mela. I also know all there is to know about Amrit’s fall,” she said.
“I like meeting Sadhu Sanyasis and Hindus here,” she said, expressing how much she enjoys interacting with sadhus, sanyasis, and Hindus.
Pascal also showed off her Rudraksha necklace, which she feels protects her and was a gift from a friend. “My buddy gave me a Rudraksha necklace, which I am wearing around my neck. “I feel protected when I wear it,” she said.
She commended the Kumbh Mela’s plans, emphasizing that everyone attending will be safe and have access to free food, drink, and lodging. “Mahakumbh is incredible. I feel very comfortable here, and millions of people are coming. There are no fees for sleeping, eating, drinking, or staying here. “Everything is really well set up,” Pascal said.
After twelve years, the world’s greatest spiritual gathering, the Maha Kumbh, is being held, and from January 13 to February 26, Prayagraj is set to see a massive influx of believers. The district government has been taking significant measures to protect the devotees from accidents, particularly with regard to crowd control and preventing fire occurrences.
On Tuesday, SSP Kumbh Rajesh Dwivedi and DIG Mahakumbh Vaibhav Krishna conducted an inspection of the Kumbh Mela region.
“Police are practicing and practicing the use of force at several locations around the Kumbh region. “The police’s main goal is to make sure that devotees don’t encounter any issues,” DIG Mahakumbh Vaibhav Krishna told ANI.
