Pakistani security forces abducted four persons in Balochistan’s Kech district

According to the Balochistan Post, four people were kidnapped by Pakistani security personnel in the Kech area of Balochistan; their relatives are still unsure of their whereabouts.

The names of the victims are Farooq Ishaq, Sher Jan Ishaq, Shagarullah, and Ramzan Baloch. At 7:00 PM on Monday, NADRA employee Ramzan Baloch was arrested in Mand.

His family and allies staged a sit-in protest at Hironk to demand his release after he vanished, obstructing the CPEC route.

Muhammad Ali Zamarani’s son Shagarullah was kidnapped from Shahi Tump on Tuesday night and has been missing ever since. In a another instance, security personnel reportedly stormed the house of two young men, Sher Jan Ishaq and Farooq Ishaq, and they were forcefully vanished on Monday night in Turbat’s Aapsar Banday Bazaar.

According to The Balochistan Post, the Ishaq family disclosed that their second son, Shams Ishaq, had also been abducted three years before and is unaccounted for.

Protests have been held across Balochistan in response to the increasing number of disappearances, with the victims’ relatives staging sit-ins and blocking important roads. The purpose of these initiatives is to increase public awareness of the region’s growing problem of enforced disappearances and human rights abuses.

The demonstrations, which demand prompt government involvement and responsibility, are a reflection of the impacted communities’ growing discontent and despair.

According to The Balochistan Post, the scenario emphasizes how urgent it is to solve these serious human rights issues, and both domestic and international organizations are encouraged to act quickly to end the kidnapping cycle and provide justice for the victims and their families.

In order to guarantee the safe return of their loved ones and bring the culprits responsible, the families of the abducted people have made an urgent plea to the government, political parties, and human rights organizations.
