Farah Khan On Working With Shah Rukh Khan
In a statement to The Times of India, Farah shared how she developed lasting bonds in the film industry, with one of them being Shah Rukh Khan. She revealed that they were friends even before the release of movies- Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa and Deewana.
Despite their close bond, Farah admitted that working with the Jawan actor has become more challenging for her now. She said, "If it was hard working with him then, it is harder now. Every time we work on a song, the pressure doubles because we have created such iconic songs together."
Farah Khan's last directorial was film Happy New Year, which starred SRK in the lead role. After the film's release, the filmmaker revealed that she wanted to take a break from directing due to the lack of exciting projects.
Meanwhile, Farah is currently busy hosting Celebrity MasterChef, which features Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna as judges.
Shah Rukh Khan, on the other hand, made his comeback to the silver screen with Pathaan in January 2023 after a four-year hiatus. Later that same year, he starred in Jawan, which grossed over Rs 1000 crores at the worldwide box office. Now, he is set to headline the film King, which also stars his daughter Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. King is being helmed by Sujoy Ghosh.
