Mumbai-based fractional ownership startup hBits has bagged INR 40 Cr (around $4.6 Mn) in a Series A funding round from Capricon Realty, an entity of Thackersey Group.

The company plans to deploy the fresh proceeds to boost its AI driven platform, expand its geographical footprint and bring curated and high-value investment opportunities to a wider base of customers.

Founded in 2018 by Shiv Parekh, hBits is a fractional ownership platform which enables investors to access high-yield and Grade-A commercial properties with an entry ticket as low as INR 10 Lakh.

“Combining Thackersey Group’s expertise with our AI-driven platform and passionate team, we aim to create a sustainable, long-term enterprise that transforms real estate investment in India,” said Parekh.
