Elizabeth Taylor was a British-American actress and one of the most iconic figures in Hollywood History. She was known for her beauty acting talent and tumultuous personal life. Taylor gained fame as a child actor and later became one of the top actresses in Hollywood during the 1950s and 1960s. She first got married to Conrad Nicky Hilton (1950 - 1951) the heir of the Hilton Hotel fortune. The marriage lasted less than a year and ended in divorce. Michael Wilding (1952 - 1957) was her second husband. They had two sons together before their marriage ended in divorce. Her third marriage was with Mike Todd (1957 - 1958) who was one of her true great loves. But tragically Todd died in a plane crash a year after their marriage. The actresss fourth husband was Eddie Fisher Mike Todd (1957 - 1958). Their marriage was highly publisied and lasted five years. The actress then married Richard Burton — the love of her life and the man she married twice! They made global headlines starring in eleven films together and becoming one of the most famous couples in the world. After a decade of tumultuous love they divorced remarried and divorced again.
