BPSC TRE 3.0: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Tuesday barred 68 candidates who appeared in the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE 3.0) from appearing in any examination conducted by the commission. BSPC Examination Controller Rajesh Kumar Singh told PTI, "These candidates who appeared in the TRE-3 examination have been barred from appearing in any examination conducted by the BPSC."

Singh said that specific discrepancies were found during other investigations including forensic. He said that the investigation revealed that these 68 candidates had passed the said examination but other people had appeared in the examination in their place. He said that legal action will be taken against them.

The BSPC had announced a total of 89,581 vacancies for various teaching posts under TRE 3.0 and the examination for this was conducted from July 19, 2024, to July 22, 2024. There were a total of 400 examination centers in 27 districts of the state for this examination and about six lakh candidates appeared in the examination.

At the same time, the Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to consider a petition related to alleged irregularities in the BPSC examination held on December 13, 2024, and police action on protesters.
