Mahakumbh Sadhvi: 13-year-old Rakhi from Agra, who once dreamed of joining the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), left her home world after getting inspiration of renunciation at Mahakumbh. Entering the Juna Akhara during the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, she became Sadhvi Gauri with Vedic chanting. Wearing saffron clothes, Rakhi has taken a vow to dedicate the rest of her life to the propagation of Sanatan Dharma.

When Rakhi's parents and family saw this change, they were surprised, but they found their happiness in their daughter's happiness. Sadhvi Gauri has given up the attachment of family and friends and chosen a new spiritual path, which is unexpected and emotional for her family and friends.

Rakhi, who comes from a prestigious petha business family of Agra, was studying in class nine. While visiting the Maha Kumbh, he took up Sannyasa under the guidance of Shri Mahant Kaushal Giri of the Akhara. Mahant Kaushal Giri is the cousin brother of Rakhi's father Dinesh Singh. Following the Vedic traditions, Kaushal Giri inducted him into the Juna Akhara. "Gauri" Gave name.

Rakhi's parents, Dinesh Singh and Reema Dhakri, were shocked by the decision, but bowed to their daughter's strong will. Rakhi's younger sister Nikki has become emotional with this change in her sister. At the same time, the parents accepted it as their daughter's happiness.

This decision of Rakhi in Mahakumbh surprised the family and relatives. Grandparents, maternal grandparents, aunts, and even school teacher and principal PC Sharma tried to convince him. Rakhi's closest friend Lakshita also tried to stop her, crying a lot on the phone. But Rakhi remained firm on her decision.

Sadhvi Gauri's new resolution

Rakhi admitted that initially she felt nervous after seeing the lifestyle of saints and sages. But on the fourth day a feeling of renunciation arose in his mind and he decided his direction. Sadhvi Gauri said, "Now one has to live and die for the propagation of Sanatan Dharma."
