A major accident was averted in Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh. The gate at Gauhaniya railway crossing remained open and the train passed. The people crossing the crossing, seeing the train, quickly ran to save their lives. Actually, at around 7 in the evening Takanpur Daurai Express was passing through Gohaniya railway crossing. The gate remained open during this time. A major accident could have occurred if the gate had remained open.
There was chaos at Gauhaniya crossing when the gate opened and the train arrived. People crossing the gate quickly ran away to save their lives. Due to which a major accident was avoided. However, Railways has not given any official confirmation regarding this incident. A video of this incident is going viral on social media. It can be seen in the viral video that the railway gate is open and the train is passing. There is chaos while the train is passing. The viral video is said to be of around 7 pm.
According to the people crossing the railway gate, seeing the train coming, people started running and even after the train came near, the gate was not closed. The train passed and the gate remained open. Some people tried to open the guard room at the crossing. The guard room was locked from inside and no response was received.
When no response was received from the guard room, the policemen and people present at the gate parked their vehicles and barricaded them. After which the situation was handled. According to the information, Gauhaniya railway crossing is one of the busiest crossings in the city. Thousands of vehicles and pedestrians are passing through this railway gate.
