Car News Desk – Mercedes-Benz India has launched the cheaper model of EQS 450 SUV, which is priced at Rs 1.28 crore, ex-showroom. The price of the new EQS 450 is about Rs 13 lakh less than the Mercedes EQS 580. Let us tell you that compared to EQS 580, the new EQS 450 is a 5-seater model. With this, this new model has become the company's entry level EQS variant, which will be showcased at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025. This car is very powerful in looks and features and the hassle of petrol ends as soon as you buy it.

How much range will it give in a single charge?
Even though Mercedes' new EQS 450 SUV in 4Matic has a 122 kWh-R battery pack, its power is limited to 360 hp and 800 Nm. The company claims that the new electric SUV can be driven up to 820 kilometers on a single charge, while the car can accelerate from 0-100 kilometers per hour in 6.1 seconds. Its charging time is also said to be very short, the company says that with the help of 200 kW DC fast charger, it gets charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 31 minutes. It gets fully charged in about 6.30 hours with the 22 kW AC wallbox charger present in the house.

The cabin is full of hi-tech features
The Mercedes EQS 450 has been given a 5-seater layout, whose front is completely similar to the EQS 580. Features provided with both these variants include 56-inch hyperscreen setup, 12.3-inch instrument cluster and 17.7-inch front passenger screen. Features like 5-speaker Burmester audio system, 360 degree camera, multi-zone automatic climate control, soft close doors, puddle lamps and level 2 ADAS and 9 airbags are available as standard. Along with this, 21-inch alloy wheels have been provided which complete its look.
