Tech News Desk – Many smartphone brands including Samsung, Motorola, Realme launch their smartphones with Android OS. From time to time Google keeps releasing new updates for its Android OS and adds new features to it. Currently Android 15 is the latest OS version. If your phone is also running on this version, then we are telling you about its two special features, through which you can keep your phone and data safe. It is possible that many people may not be aware of these features. Know about these interesting features in detail…

No one will be able to turn off the phone except you
You must have noticed that whenever a phone is stolen, the first thing it is switched off is so that its location cannot be tracked. After switching off, either the phone is sold or its parts are taken out, in such a situation the chances of recovering the phone after theft are negligible. But Android has given such a feature to its users, by enabling which the security of the phone can be increased to a great extent. Actually, the new feature of Android allows you to set a password/PIN to switch off or restart the phone.

This means that anyone who does not know this password will never be able to turn off or restart your phone. This means that even in case of theft or loss, the phone will not be switched off, which will make it easier to track its location. Let us tell you about this secret setting… (Note- We are telling you the settings according to the Realme 13 Pro Plus phone running on Android 15) For this, go to the settings of the phone. Here tap on Security and Privacy. Here look for More Security & Privacy option and tap on it. Here you will see the option of Require password to power off. Verify to power-off option will appear inside this option.

As soon as you click on this option, you will be asked to create a pattern lock. After creating the pattern lock, whenever you switch off the phone, you will have to enter this pattern. The phone will not be able to turn off without entering the pattern. This means that if someone tries to switch off your phone after stealing it, then despite all efforts he will not be able to switch off the phone.

Create your personal safe in your phone like this
If you also have this tension while giving the phone that the person in front can see your personal things present in the phone, like photos, videos or any documents, then Android has solved this problem of yours also. Android is giving you the facility to create your own private space in the phone. By taking advantage of this feature, you can create your own gallery in the phone itself, which no one else will be able to access except you.

This is because to access the private space, a password will be required, which only you will have. In this, you can save your personal photos, videos with the help of password and can view them whenever you want. There is no need to download any third party for this. Android has given this feature in the phone itself.

Let us tell you where you will get this feature
For this go to the phone's settings. Here tap on Security and Privacy. Here you will see Private Safe option under Special Features, click on it. As soon as you click, you will be asked to create a password. You can also access it through fingerprint, which will eliminate the hassle of entering the password again and again. Now you will be able to access it quickly just using your fingerprint.

Now go to the gallery and click on the album. Here you will see different folders (Recent, Camera, Favorites, Videos, Screenshots, WhatsApp Images and others). If you scroll down, you will see an option named Private. This is your personal vault. As soon as you tap on Private, the fingerprint option will appear, you will be able to open it by entering the password. You can keep your data like photos, videos and documents safe here. You can also create folders with different names. If you want to bring any phone media file from the gallery to this folder, then you can bring it by clicking on the plus (+) sign.
