With 2024 being such a remarkable year for you, highlighted by your captivating performance in Rabb Se Hai Dua in the first half and now Safal Hogi Teri Aradhana (SHTA), how do you feel this success has impacted you both personally and professionally?

Success is bittersweet. Mostly sweet, because you know the more love you get from an audience and appreciation, and the show does well. It's my second stint in two years, which has reasonably done well. You feel very good, you feel humble. But, it's then again not only my effort but it's also the whole team's effort, and that's what resonates with me the most. And also, it has been significant for sure because it's very hectic. Strips work according to TRPs. So, you have to really give it your all to see through and sustain the story and make it a successful show. And the more successful you get, my father always told me that you have to keep your head high, your feet on the ground, and you keep going. And that's exactly what I resonate with. So, I'm just looking forward to more successes, more appreciation, more love from the audience, and more entertainment for them, more than anything else. I'm an entertainer after all, and that's how it resonates with me.

Beyond your impressive work on 'Safal Hogi Teri Aradhana', what exciting plans do you have for 2025?

My plans are that I need to work—that's what I'm exactly doing, starting my year on sets. I completed the year with some secret projects, so they call it, because you can't really divulge much, initially. But yes, I'm looking forward to finally some good content. I'm open to hosting; I'm going to be hosting this year as well. So I'm looking forward to that, and I'm also wanting to read more, look into more scripts so that I can make my own movies, my own series, but that's a long shot, eventually.

Can we expect to see you focusing on just one medium this year, or are there any thrilling new projects lined up for you on OTT platforms or in films?

I was offered a South film, but that's right now relatively on the back seat. But I hope that materializes. At the same time, I finally ended the year with a series that is going to be released in early 2025. And I'm really looking forward to that project. It's one of my favourite projects. It's a kind of sequel, that's all I can say.

It's 2025, and with the new year comes new resolutions. Have you made any, and if so, what are they?

Oh yes, we make resolutions. A few days later, we get back into the whole grind and forget all about it. Most of the time, I've been doing that. The only resolution I've made this year is to complete all my other resolutions, which have just gone by. Like, I want to get into, you know, a bit more of dancing, learn a bit more of, you know, just fine-tune as a performer—dancing, a bit of singing, a bit of, ah, musical instruments that I want to play. I wish I could help everybody. So, take care, and you know, as you work in this industry, you realize the most important thing is not your pay cheque, but the sleep that you're deprived of. So definitely sleep more, rest more, and give that much more to your projects with the energy that you have. The other resolutions that I have made are that I want to be a better person, I want to be more compassionate, and more passionate about my work, and also open up the medium, not as an actor, but also as a creator in general. So, you know it will come. I wish you all a Happy New Year. 2025 is number nine, which resonates very well with me. I'm also number nine—in fact, a double nine (18 September). So, I'm really looking forward to this dynamic year with all the great things it has to offer, and I look forward to a lot of abundance and gratitude.
