The Met Department predicts that today will have a low temperature of 6 degrees Celsius and a high temperature of around 20 degrees Celsius with “very dense fog.”

While this was going on, the Delhi Airport informed travelers that aircraft departures had been impacted by the heavy fog. For the most recent flight information, it also suggested that travelers get in touch with their individual carriers.

According to the alert, “Departures of aircraft have been affected by the severe fog; however, CAT III compliant planes may land and take off from Delhi Airport. For the most recent flight information, travelers are asked to get in touch with the relevant airline. We sincerely apologize for any trouble this may have caused.

The national capital’s air quality fell into the “severe” category. The Central Pollution Control Board reports that at 7 a.m. today, the AQI was measured at 409 in Delhi. It was 299 yesterday at the same time.

A score of zero to fifty is regarded as “good,” 51 to 100 as “satisfactory,” 101 to 200 as “moderate,” 201 to 300 as “poor,” 301 to 400 as “very poor,” and 401 to 500 as “severe.”

As the temperature dropped, all of the beds at a number of night shelters located across the national capital were filled.

Additionally, 235 pagoda tents have been erected by the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) to house the homeless. AIIMS, Lodhi Road, and the Nizamuddin flyover are among the locations in the national capital where night shelters have been erected.
