Mumbai, January 10 The trailer for “Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama,” which was released by the film’s creators on Friday, is a visual masterpiece that is full of amazing sights and epic fights.

The uncommon Indo-Japanese cooperation, which was conceived by Yugo Sako and directed by Koichi Sasaki and Ram Mohan, used about 100,000 hand-drawn cells and over 450 artists. It combines the storytelling customs of India with the creative skill of Japan.

Based on Valmiki’s Ramayana, the trailer “Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama” transports viewers to Ayodhya, where Prince Rama was born, and Mithila, where he marries Sita, with its epic fight scenes and stunning cinematography.

Beautifully portrayed Japanese animation style brings to life the battlefield of the famous conflict between Lord Rama and King Ravana, Lanka, and the woodland of Panchavati, where Prince Rama spent his exile with Sita and Lakshman.

According to filmmaker Shri V. Vijayendra Prasad, “Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama speaks of timeless values—dharma, courage, and love—which is why it resonates across cultures and continents.” Millions of people have been influenced by this tale, from Valmiki’s epic to adaptations like Kamban’s Ramavataram and Tulsidas’s Ramcharitmanas.

“It is an honor to contribute to the revival of this classic movie for the current generation, who will see it in a completely new way.”

“This film is a tribute to one of the greatest stories ever told,” Geek Pictures India CEO Moksha Modgill said in a statement.

“The film has been a memorable part of our childhood for many of us in India, and bringing it to theaters for a theatrical release now is a beautiful revival of a cult favorite,” Modgill said. I can’t wait for the younger generation to see this movie on January 24th with families and kids.

“Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama is more than just a cinematic experience—it is a celebration of Indian heritage,” producer Arjun Aggarwal said. Watching this movie as a child influenced my passion for Indian culture and storytelling.

I’m honored to be a part of its resuscitation today. I can’t wait for people to rediscover this movie’s enchantment in cinemas since it spans age, location, and generations.

The movie will be theatrically released in India by Geek Pictures India, AA Films, and Excel Entertainment, and it will debut in 4K in cinemas on January 24, 2025.
