India is now witnessing a good demand for everything from electric scooters to electric cars and electric loading vehicles. Different types of EVs will be in vogue at the Auto Expo starting on 17 January 2025, but this time you will also get to see the magic of electric heavy vehicles such as electric trucks at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo.
Omega Seiki, a homegrown company that makes electric commercial vehicles, has announced to showcase the updated versions of its two electric trucks and a passenger three-wheeler at the Auto Expo (India Mobility Global Expo-2025).
Omega Seiki is going to launch its electric truck M1KA 1.0 at the Auto Expo. Apart from this, it is going to unveil another truck M1KA 3.0 at this expo. While it will also launch an updated version of the electric passenger three-wheeler Stream City 2.0.
The company claims that it has developed a range of electric trucks in view of the growing e-commerce and logistics needs in India. The company's trucks can handle heavy loads along with extended range, and their running cost is also low. Not only this, the company has developed a complete system of battery swapping for its EVs, which further improves fleet operations.
Apart from Omega Seiki, Eicher Motors is also going to showcase its electric trucks as well as flex fuel and hydrogen trucks at the Auto Expo. While this time with the participation of more than 50 countries in the Auto Expo, you can see new modern technology, products of many Chinese auto companies and other electric commercial vehicles.
India Mobility Global Expo will run from 17 to 22 January. This event is being held at 3 different venues. These include Bharat Mandapam (Pragati Maidan), Yashobhoomi (Dwarka, Delhi) and India Expo Mart (Greater Noida).
