In Yamunanagar, a gang committing fraud in the name of dragon snake has defrauded many people of crores of rupees. Yamunanagar police has registered a case against this gang against four accused and the search for them is going on.
Retired soldier Ashok Bhatia has exposed this entire matter. Who lodged a complaint with the police that a person named Darpan had introduced them to Harry alias Harpreet and Mursaline. Both of them cheated him and cheated him of Rs 35 lakh. Ashok Bhatia told that the accused showed him a fake dragon snake and said that its deal was going to be worth crores of rupees. More cases of such fraud have come to light.
Gursharan Singh, another victim of fraud by pretending to be a dragon snake, told that he is a resident of Zirakpur. Gursharan Singh has also complained to Yamunanagar Police, in which he told that this gang has cheated him of Rs 1 crore 80 lakh. The gang showed them an object that looked like a snake and claimed that with its help their wife's cancer could be cured.
Falling into this trap, Gursharan Singh gave Rs 1 crore 80 lakh. According to Gursharan Singh, this gang has also committed similar fraud with other people of Ambala and Ludhiana. Yamunanagar Police has registered a case under various sections against four people including Harpreet and Mursaline. Raids are being conducted for his arrest.
Police investigating officer said that smuggling of dragon snake is a secret and illegal activity. In which it is sold at high prices. The gang was taking advantage of this and extorting huge amounts of money from people. These people actually sell dead and fake dragon snakes. However, the accused are still out of the custody of the police. Many more fraud cases related to this matter have come to light. Due to which the police administration has become alert about the increasing activity of this gang.
