Jaipur, January 10 : The new year 2025 will witness a total of 172 auspicious days, thanks to several rare and beneficial yogas and nakshatras spread throughout the year. Notably, the first Ravi Pushya Nakshatra will occur on March 9, while the Guru Pushya Nakshatra will follow on March 25. From January to December, there will be 114 Sarvartha Siddhi Yogas, 27 Amrit Siddhi Yogas, 2 Guru Pushya Nakshatras, 2 Ravi Pushya Nakshatras, and 27 Tripushkar Yogas, making it a highly favorable year for important activities.

According to Dr. Mahendra Mishra, a renowned astrologer, Ravi Pushya Nakshatra, considered particularly auspicious for new purchases, will occur twice in 2025. Similarly, Guru Pushya Nakshatra, ideal for initiating important ventures, will also be observed twice. Additionally, 114 days of Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga and 38 days of Amrit Siddhi Yoga will provide ample opportunities for carrying out significant tasks.

However, auspicious events like weddings will be paused during the Malmas period, which begins with Meena Sankranti on March 15 and ends on April 14. Auspicious occasions such as marriages will resume on April 15 and continue until June 4, after which Guru Tara Asta (the setting of Jupiter) from June 11 to July 4 will halt such events. Following this, Chaturmas will begin on July 6, marking another period when no auspicious activities are performed. The next favorable period for weddings will start after November 1, post Tulsi Ekadashi, when Dev Uthani Ekadashi signifies the end of Chaturmas.

Pushya Nakshatra: The Most Auspicious of All

Dr. Mishra explained that of the 27 nakshatras in the sky, Pushya Nakshatra holds the highest significance. Known as Tishya or Amrejya, it is the eighth nakshatra in the celestial order. Pushya Nakshatra occurring on a Sunday (Ravi Pushya) or Thursday (Guru Pushya) is considered especially auspicious due to the influence of Saturn, Jupiter, and Moon, making it ideal for purchases and the commencement of new ventures.

On the day of Guru Pushya Nakshatra, initiating educational activities for young children is believed to bring long-lasting benefits. Additionally, it is a favorable time for conducting account book worship and starting financial records or new business ventures.
