BHU Recruitment 2025: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has started 43 new recruitments in 2025 for research and non-teaching posts. These posts are available for various non-teaching staff including senior and junior scientists at South Campus Barkacha, Mirzapur. The last date for the application form is 6 February till 5 pm, while the hard copy should be submitted by 11 February at Holkar Bhawan of BHU. The application fee for the post of scientist is 1,000 thousand and Rs 500 for non-teaching staff.

Recruitment for these posts
The objective of these recruitments is to promote research on wheat, rice, pulses, mustard, and seeds in the South Campus under the All India Coordinated Research Project of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The appointments will include posts like matter specialist, junior pathologist, and maize breeder for teaching staff. Non-teaching staff includes posts like supporting staff, program assistants, and farm managers. This recruitment is on a contract basis for a maximum period of five years.

Qualification and age limit

Level-14 posts require 10 years of experience with a PhD, while Level-13A requires 8 years of experience and Level-10 requires MSc or PhD qualification. Lower level posts will require 12th and BSc/MSc qualification. The age limit for non-teaching posts is 18-30 years for the general category, 18-33 years for OBC, and 18-35 years for SC/ST. No age limit has been set for teaching posts.

Salary
These posts are divided into nine categories, whose pay scale ranges from pay-band level 4 to academic level 14. Their salary can range from ₹25,500 to ₹81,000 and ₹1,44,200 to ₹2,18,200.
