Dua Lipa has joined a growing list of celebrities fleeing Los Angeles as wildfires continue to ravage the region. The British-Albanian singer described the situation as “absolutely devastating” in an emotional Instagram post.

Sharing her thoughts alongside an image of the burning city, wrote, “Absolutely devastating and scary couple of days in LA. Thinking of all my friends and the people of the city who had to evacuate their homes. I'll be sharing some links I find for anyone who wants to help and donate to the shelters that are currently housing a lot of displaced people.” Lipa assured fans that she had safely left the city and added, “I'm safe and made it out of the city. Sending my love to everyone going through this incredibly difficult time. Stay safe and take care of each other.”

The singer, who purchased a luxurious Beverly Hills mansion in 2020, had originally moved to Los Angeles to be closer to her ex-boyfriend, Anwar Hadid. However, with the wildfires claiming over 1,200 acres, a rising death toll of 10, and numerous homes destroyed, Lipa was compelled to evacuate.

Other celebrities, including Paris Hilton, Denise Crosby, and Milo Ventimiglia, have also faced devastating losses as the fires consumed their properties. James Bourne , another LA resident, recently evacuated his home as flames threatened the area. The situation in Los Angeles remains critical, with the fire continuing to spread to new neighbourhoods. As the city battles the ongoing crisis, Lipa and others are using their platforms to raise awareness and support relief efforts for those affected.
