On the Civil Lines side of the Prayagraj Junction, next to platform number six, a distinctive train carriage restaurant has been established.

The restaurant is housed in an abandoned train car that has been transformed into a popular destination for travelers and the public.

The railroads started the project to establish a new site of attraction in advance of the Maha Kumbh 2025, according to restaurant owner Rishab Yadav. He also emphasized that the eatery serves only vegetarian food.

“Recently, the railroads started a proposal to build a new, appealing destination for restaurants in the old train carriage. We designed this all-vegetarian restaurant in anticipation of Mahakumbh 2025. kept everything neat and hygienic. Many individuals visit this place. Yadav told ANI, “This place has become a selfie point for people.”

Muskan, a patron of the restaurant, complimented the place’s cleanliness and cozy atmosphere.
Speaking to ANI, Muskan said, “The food is very clean and hygienic, and the ambience here at the restaurant is very cozy.”

Another patron commended the railroads for their gesture and pointed out that there were no eateries in the area.

“Eating here gives us the impression that we are seated on a train. The client told ANI, “It’s a great thing that they built this because there were no restaurants nearby. We can come here with our family as well.”

Meanwhile, Prayagraj has increased security as the biggest religious event in the world draws near.

“The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh had directed the creation of circular security around Prayagraj, including the seven routes connecting Prayagraj district, the districts that fall on those routes, and the border districts, in order to ensure the safety of the pilgrims traveling for the impending Maha Kumbh. Uttar Pradesh Police is dedicated to the safety of the pilgrims traveling for the Maha Kumbh, and in accordance with the aforementioned directives, 102 fronts have been established for the purpose of inspecting and frisking both persons and vehicles,” said Uttar Pradesh DGP Prashant Kumar.

645 constables, 234 sub-inspectors, and 71 inspectors are among the more than 1,000 police officers who have been assigned to staff 102 checkpoints along the seven highways that link Prayagraj district to neighboring districts.

Over 45 crore people are anticipated for the celebration of the Maha Kumbh, which is being held after a 12-year hiatus.
Devotees will congregate at the Sangam, the meeting point of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the now-extinct Saraswati, to take a sacred bath during the Maha Kumbh. On February 26, the Maha Kumbh will come to an end.

On January 14 (Makar Sankranti), January 29 (Mauni Amavasya), and February 3 (Basant Panchami), the Kumbh’s principal bathing ceremonies (Shahi Snan) will be held.
