According to a senior police officer, a chemical facility in Noida caught fire early on Sunday morning.
According to the Noida Deputy Commissioner of Police, the fire started at around 3:25 a.m. today inside a chemical company called Shri Banke Bihari Aromatics.
The fire service unit responded quickly to the event, sending 32 fire tenders to the scene and starting a firefighting operation. The fire is being put out by firefighters.
According to the official, no casualties from the event have been confirmed as of yet.
“On January 12, 205, at approximately 3:25 am, Noida Police received information about a fire in a chemical plant, Shri Banke Bihari Aromatics, in the village of Dujana Road under the jurisdiction of Badalpur police station,” the Noida DCP stated in a video uploaded on X by the Police Commissionerate of Gautam Buddh Nagar. The fire service unit responded quickly to the scene and, with the assistance of around thirty-two firefighting trucks, is now putting out the fire. There have been no reported injuries in the event.
