Blankets were distributed to poor farmers, laborers and elderly women to protect them from the severe cold by social worker and district president of Bharatiya Kisan Union (non-political) organization Rajesh Rawat in Shekhan Kheda village of Mohanlalganj in the capital Lucknow.

In the blanket distribution program, blankets were distributed to poor women and elderly people, due to which a glimpse of happiness was visible on the faces of those poor women farmers. After receiving the blankets, those elderly women have blessed District President Rajesh Rawat for progress.

Rajesh Kumar Rawat, District President of Bharatiya Kisan Union apolitical faction, said that blankets have been distributed to all the poor in view of the severe cold. He said that Bharatiya Kisan Union apolitical will always stand shoulder to shoulder with all those poor people.
