EPFO: Alert for employees.. Do this EPFO related work before January 15. Otherwise you will not get the ELI scheme!
EPFO News: To avail of the benefits of the government's Employment Linked Incentive Scheme (ELI Scheme), Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) members need to activate their Universal Account Number (UAN). They also need to link their Aadhaar to their bank account. For this, now there are 3 days left for EPFO members, especially new employees. If you have recently started working in any company, activate your UAN number by January 15. Apart from this, linking Aadhaar with a bank account is also necessary.
EPFO has extended the deadline to link bank accounts with Aadhaar to activate UAN till January 15, 2025. Earlier, the last date to activate UAN was November 30, 2024. It was later extended to December 15, 2024.
What is the ELI Scheme?
The government announced the ELI Scheme in Budget 2024. There are 3 types of schemes in this scheme. A, B, C. These three schemes aim to promote employment generation. As well as provide financial assistance to new employees.
First, go to the EPFO website epfindia.gov.in.
Now click on For Employees in the services section that appears on the left.
Click on Member UAN Online Service OCS which appears second in the services column on the left.
After this, click on Activate UAN.
Now enter the 12-digit UAN, Aadhaar number, name, date of birthAadhaar-linked mobile number, captcha code, etc.
After this, click on the declaration check box given below. Now click on the Get Authorization PIN button that appears below.
Now fill in the OTP and click on the Submit button.
In this way, your UAN will be activated.
