As Maha Kumbh starts, brands are expected to spend Rs 2,000 crore on advertising

January 13, New Delhi Companies of all stripes are attempting to take advantage of the enormous chance to reach at least 45 crore people as the Maha Kumbh 2025 got underway on Monday. They are probably going to invest hundreds of millions in marketing campaigns and local activities.

According to some industry estimates, Maha Kumbh is expected to produce over Rs 4 lakh crore in commerce, which would increase the nominal and real GDP by more than 1%.

The government predicts that if 40 crore people spend an average of Rs 5,000, Maha Kumbh may earn Rs 2 lakh crore in commerce.

During the 45-day festival, companies from both India and other countries are vying for space to display their presence.

About 45,000 tons of steel were provided by the massive public sector organization Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) for the building of several structures during the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025.

In advance of the largest gathering of Sanatan Dharma adherents, Prayagraj has undergone a significant transformation.
