Delhi: A video of an altercation over wrongful parking involving a mother-daughter duo and a man from Delhi has surfaced online. In the video, the daughter can be heard abusing the man, who appears to have recorded the altercation and shared the video online.
The video of the incident has stirred outrage on social media, with many users demanding action against the young woman for using abusive language against the man who reportedly objected to the woman parking her vehicle wrongly and blocking his vehicle, obstructing its way out.
In the video, the woman can be heard saying, "Here tens of vehicles were parked wrongly, will he object to them also? Do whatever you can."
Then the man says, "You parked wrongly."
After a cut, the woman argues with the man that he will go to jail for talking rudely to a woman.
Then after another cut, the woman's daughter can be seen abusing the man. "Doon kya abhi, bahen k* la**a," she says.
Many social media users reacted to the video and criticised the woman's behavior towards the man.
"Most women are misusing the law and the ones who are not, will when they are in this type of situation. When is the judiciary going to wake up?" wrote a user.
Advising others to take such matters to the traffic police rather than indulging with law violators, a user said, "Extremely disturbing video! The issue is that these women might still go ahead and register a complaint, and the man will have to fight it out for the next few years despite the proof. It’s best to avoid getting into an argument, especially with women on the road, and simply report traffic violations to the traffic police. This reminds me of the case of Harleen Kaur, who filed a false complaint a few years back and was awarded medals."
It remains unclear when and where the incident was recorded.
