Last year, the government launched this scheme in Chandigarh as a pilot project. After this, this scheme has been started in some other states of India like Assam, Punjab, Haryana and Puducherry.

Now it has been announced to start this scheme all over the country. Let us tell you that under this scheme, free cashless treatment will be given by the government for seven days of the accident or up to Rs 1.5 lakh. Under this scheme, benefits will be available in registered hospitals under Ayushman Yojana.

Delhi government runs Farishte Scheme

The Delhi government started the Farishte scheme in the year 2019 to help the injured in road accidents. Under this scheme, victims of any kind of accident in Delhi get free treatment. Not only this, people who take the victims to the hospital are also given a reward of 2 thousand rupees.

The scheme started by the central government to help the injured in accidents has a limit of up to Rs 1.5. On the other hand, the government has not set any such limit in Delhi's Farishte Yojana.
