Under the Agricultural Equipment Subsidy Scheme, farmers are being given a 50% subsidy on purchasing agricultural equipment. This scheme helps farmers buy modern agricultural equipment.

For all the economically weaker section farmers in the state, who are unable to buy agricultural equipment, the Uttar Pradesh government has started the Krishi Upkaran Subsidy Yojana, in which a 50% subsidy will be provided under this scheme for purchasing agricultural equipment, this scheme is operated on the basis of token system.

The main objective of the Krishi Upkaran Subsidy Yojana

Krishi Upkaran Subsidy Yojana was launched by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, under Krishi Upkaran Subsidy Yojana, 50% subsidy is being given to backward-class farmers and economically poor farmers to buy agricultural equipment, so through this scheme, there is development in the agricultural sector of the farmers and their economic condition improves so that their standard of living can be better.

Benefits of Krishi Upkaran Subsidy Yojana

• The benefit of Krishi Upkaran Subsidy Yojana is available to those farmers who are financially weak.
• Under Krishi Upkaran Subsidy Yojana, farmers will get subsidy up to 50%.
• In Krishi Upkaran Subsidy Yojana, there are different subsidies by the government which are available on purchasing different agricultural equipment, in which the maximum subsidy is 50%.
• Under this scheme, tokens are issued by the Agriculture Department, on the basis of which subsidy is provided.

Eligibility required for Krishi Upkaran Subsidy Yojana

• The farmer should be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• The benefit of Krishi Upkaran Subsidy Yojana will be given only to small and backward class farmers.
• The age of the farmer should be more than 18 years.
• The farmer should have suitable land for his own cultivation.

• Go to the official website of Krishi Upkaran Subsidy Yojana, Agriculture Department, Uttar Pradesh (up.gov.in).
• Now click on the option of 'Token for Agricultural Equipment'.
• Now select your district and click on the search button.
• Select the agricultural equipment you want to buy.
• Now read the form carefully and fill in all the information and upload the required documents.
• Now click on the submit option, you will get the subsidy for agricultural equipment after some time.
