Lemon is a rich source of Vitamin C. If the level of this nutrient increases in our body, it affects many vital organs, hence many doctors also recommend taking it in limited quantities.
1. Stomach ache:
There is a risk of increased acidic secretion in the stomach due to excess of Vitamin C because it significantly increases the risk of acidity. These problems do not stop here, but drinking too much lemon water can cause problems like vomiting, diarrhea and nausea. Many people suffering from gastroesophageal reflux should drink less lemon water.
2. Mouth Ulcers:
Lemon is often used to clean the mouth and teeth, but if you drink more lemon water than necessary, the citric acid present in it will cause inflammation in the tissues of the mouth, causing mouth ulcers and swelling.
3. Weak Teeth:
Try to use a straw whenever you drink lemon water, this will reduce the contact of lemon juice with the teeth. This will not weaken the teeth.
