Are you someone who only wakes up after sipping on to your daily cup of joe? Well, this celebrity nutritionist has a different take for morning. Like several others, Katrina Kaif too like her coffee. She is known to follow a dedicated fitness routine with clean dietary practices. Shweta Shah, Kaif’s dietician talked about her two-meal plan in an interview in July 2024. Shah constantly posts on social media in an endeavor to spread as much awareness as possible.

In one of Shweta Shah’s post, she talked about three essential things a coffee lover must be mindful about.

Should You Drink Coffee Empty Stomach?

Different studies have different substantial values for coffee drinking routine. According to a post shared by Katrina Kaif’s nutritionist, Shweta Shah, coffee is acidic in nature that may entail troubles for the digestive system. Her caption reads, “The Perfect Coffee Routine. Start your day the smart way! Before grabbing that cup of coffee -Eat something nourishing to protect your gut. Wait 60–90 minutes after waking to avoid cortisol spikes.”

  1. Choose organic coffee: Organic coffee can help avoid harmful chemicals.
  2. Eat Before Your Coffee: Coffee is acidic and can harm your stomach lining- always eat first.
  3. Time your coffee: Wait for 60-90 minutes after waking up before drinking coffee. Early consumption can spike cortisol, stressing hormones.

In a an interview on the YouTube channel, Shlloka, Shah revealed about Katrina Kaif’s diet, “She only has two meals a day and is not someone who eats every two hours and keeps on eating. Despite being a celebrity who likes Indian and Asian cuisine, she always sticks to ghar ka khaana (homecooked food), and carries it with her. She is someone who will eat the same kind of food and her lifestyle is such that she sleeps early and wakes up early.”

Regularly, Shah, shares her expertise in nutrition, talking about ways of eating and consuming food.
