Whether this is accepted or not in the world, but even today, by looking at someone's body, it is judged whether that person is fit for any work or not… especially when it comes to police or army, then mental More emphasis is placed on strength of arms and manly voices than on strength and courage. Well, no one can be blamed for this because some ghosts do not agree with words and when it comes to managing a jail full of the country's biggest and most dreaded criminals, then it is important to keep these things in mind. .

But courage is also the name of a bird and great achievements can be achieved with courage. But the question is whether the pulse of ideals can survive behind bars. The answer to this question is Vikramaditya Motwane's series 'Black Warrant' (Black Warrant) Sunil Gupta, the hero of the story, searches throughout the show. Now whether he gets that answer or not, you will have to know by watching the series. Here we are going to tell you what is worth watching and remembering in the series?

The story of the biggest prison and its jailer

How a common man looks at a criminal has been explained very clearly in this series. The hero of the story of the show is Sunil Gupta who has got the job of becoming the jailer of Tihar, the country's biggest and most dangerous jail. He is a person who neither eats meat or fish nor knows how to abuse. He doesn't get angry. He sees prisoners more like humans than criminals. The best thing about the show is that the show does not tell you that such behavior of a jailer is not good for the jail. Rather, the twists and turns of the show lovingly transform you along with Sunil and in the end you feel yourself standing in his place.

Sunil Kumar Gupta, who was working in Delhi's Tihar Jail, along with journalist Sunetra Chaudhary had written a book about six years ago named Black Warrant: Confessions of a Tihar Jailer. This book is still the most popular and accurate book made on Tihar. This show of Vikramaditya Motwani is based on this book. For those who don't know, Black Warrant is the order letter on which the time of death of a prisoner is fixed as a punishment. That is, when the hanging of a prisoner is decided, a warrant is issued in his name in which it is told at what time and on which day he will be hanged.

Tihar's hanging house…and the test

'Hanging... is one of the biggest tests of any jail...' and Tihar's hanging house has given this test many times. The story of the show takes you to the darkest cells of the jail, showing you how the people in jail actually live. Fighting among prisoners, these people living according to 'A', 'B' and 'C' classes remain divided over money even within the four walls of the jail. There are three gangs in the jail, the first is Haddi, the second is Tyagi and the third is Sardar. Sunil gets shaken up when he encounters internal politics, corruption and conspiracies in the jail. He becomes so mentally disturbed that he starts feeling that now only a criminal can help him. Sunil's character in the show is played by Zahaan Kapoor, grandson of late actor Shashi Kapoor. Zahaan completely holds the show. The story of the show does not wander anywhere and the credit for this goes to his excellent acting. However, there is another character who whenever comes on screen, one feels like seeing only him.

Siddhant blossomed in the character of Charles Sobhraj.

Siddhant Gupta has played the role of Charles Sobhraj, a notorious criminal known as the Bikini Killer. One thing is very famous about Charles and that is his style and his charm. Whenever Siddhant comes on screen, he devours everyone present with him. His eyes do that charisma from behind the glasses which it takes actors a long time to do. Siddhant's gait, gestures and way of speaking are so amazing that even if Charles himself saw him, he would probably keep watching. This is a criminal who, despite being in jail, is perhaps the most free of all. Siddhant is amazing in this role.

In this series of Motwani, there is an attempt to tell what happened in this biggest jail of Asia during the Congress rule? There is also a slogan of India is Indira and Indira is India and this slogan is so loud that when the then Home Minister Giani Zail Singh comes to inspect the jail, the prisoners tell him that this is Nehru's jail. There is an attempt to do political satire but at some places the need for it is felt a little less. There are many things in this series which are not there in the book and many things which are sensational in the book are not there in it due to which the interest in watching this series arises.

Crime story from inside the jail

Be it the wait for 'death' during the hanging of Ranga-Billa or the easy execution of Maqbool Bhatt's death sentence, the series easily overcomes every aspect with calmness. Each episode is on average around 40 minutes. The cast has been selected by Vikramaditya Motwani. Apart from Zahaan and Siddhant, the show has great names like Rahul Bhat, Anurag Thakur, Paramveer Singh, Pratap Fad, Vinay Sharma, Sukhwinder Chahal and Tota Roy Choudhary. Sunil Kumar Gupta, who wrote Black Warrant, had seen 14 hangings in Tihar during his tenure, this story does not show you everything… it cannot show you… but whatever it shows is amazing. There are a lot of abuses so don't watch it with the family, otherwise if you are even slightly interested in knowing the world of crime then the series is a good option.
