Congress has released another list of candidates for Delhi Assembly elections. Names of candidates have been announced for 16 seats. In this, the candidate for Gokalpur seat has changed. Now Ishwar Bagri has been made the candidate in place of Pramod Kumar Jayant. Ticket has been given to Dharampal Lakra from Mundka seat, Ariba Khan from Okhla and Rajesh Gupta from Kirari seat. Congress has made Mange Ram its candidate from Palam assembly seat.
Dharampal Lakra, candidate from Mundka seat, had left Aam Aadmi Party and joined Congress today. Just a few hours after joining hands, the party made him its candidate. Along with Lakra, councilor Rajesh Gupta Kirari also joined Congress. Kirari is a councilor from ward number 39. Both the leaders took membership of the party in the presence of Delhi Congress President Devendra Yadav and in-charge Qazi Nizamuddin.

Let us tell you that Congress has so far declared 63 candidates for the elections of 70 member assembly. Before this, Congress has released three lists. Congress has given ticket to councilor Ariba Khan from Okhla, a Muslim-dominated assembly constituency. Voting for Delhi Assembly will be held on February 5. Counting of votes will take place on February 8.
