Pakistan cricket team fast bowler Hasan Ali says that his wife had sacrificed much more for his marriage than him.
Hasan Ali had married Indian girl Samiya Arzoo in Dubai, UAE back in August 2019. The couple is now blessed with two children.
Recently, the Pakistani fast bowler Hasan Ali had appeared on a comedy show, Hansna Mana Hai, and frankly narrated stories of his married life.
The cricketer shared that he first met his wife in Dubai through a mutual friend who arranged their meeting at a hotel.
He revealed that when he first met Samiya, he had no intention of marrying an Indian girl. However, as their meetings continued, they decided to get married.
Hasan Ali confessed that marrying someone from another country is not an easy decision. Having been born and brought up in Pakistan and India made it a bit tough; hence, they thought twice before getting married to each other.
He said they had first thought of settling somewhere else in some third country and not in either Pakistan or India. Later, however, they did a U-turn and changed their mind.
Because it was hard to stay permanently in Dubai as a cricketer, they have decided to reside in Pakistan.
Hasan Ali revealed that Samiya left her Emirates Airline job in Dubai and went back to Pakistan because of his wife’s sacrifices.
He clarified that Samiya is still an Indian citizen but has shifted base to Pakistan.
Hasan Ali appreciated his wife’s sacrifices and acknowledged that she left Dubai for him. The couple now has two children and is living a happy married life.
He also mentioned that he visited his in-laws in India during last year’s Cricket World Cup and had a pleasant time there.
On February 26, Pakistani fast bowler Hasan Ali announced the birth of his daughter, Hazal Hassan Ali, via social media. Hasan, who is currently playing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9 with the Karachi Kings, has confirmed the birth of his second child.
