PNB KYC Update: There is big news for the customers of the public sector Punjab National Bank. If you also have an account in this bank, you need to be alert; otherwise, your account will be closed soon. If you have not yet updated Know Your Customer (KYC), the last time you should do so is January 23, 2025.
Punjab National Bank has said that according to RBI guidelines, all customers must update their KYC. The bank has asked the customers to update their Know Your Customer (KYC) information by January 23, 2025, so that their accounts can be operated smoothly. This applies to those customers whose account KYC update was to be done by September 30, 2024.
What details are to be given for KYC?
PNB has asked customers to submit their updated details, such as identity proof, address proof, recent photo, PAN/Form 60, income proof, mobile number (if not available), or any other KYC details, at any branch. This work can also be done through PNB One/Internet Banking Services (IBS) or registered email/post at your home branch until January 23.
Otherwise, you will not be able to use the account.
The bank has said that not updating KYC details within the stipulated time may result in restrictions in account operation. For any help, customers can visit their nearest Punjab National Bank branch or visit the official website https://www.pnbindia.in.
