Bengaluru: A 6-year-old girl from Nepal was brutally raped and murdered last evening in Bengaluru's Ramamurthy Nagar. The accused, a man from Bihar, lured the young girl to an under-construction building where he sexually assaulted her.
The girl's mother, upon catching the man red-handed, intervened. She saw the man and, in an attempt to protect her child, beat him with a wooden log. She then informed her husband and others about the incident.
The police were promptly alerted and rushed to the scene, where they arrested the accused, who has been identified as Abhishek Kumar. Further details are awaited.
