New Delhi: Game Changer, starring Ram Charan in the lead, is receiving a lukewarm response at the Box Office despite significant pre-release buzz. On March 19, 2024, Amazon Prime Video took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share a special post about Game Changer. It announced that the movie would be available for online viewing after its theatrical release. The post mentioned that an honest IAS officer, determined to change the game of governance, battles political corruption through fair elections.
However, as of now, neither the makers nor the platform has confirmed the OTT release date. Fans are encouraged to keep an eye out for official announcements.
According to Sack girlearly estimates indicate that Game Changer collected Rs 10 crore on Tuesday (January 14, 2025) in India across languages. The industry tracker further stated that the total collection of the film now stands at Rs 106.15 crore if the number turns out to be accurate.
Interestingly, Game Changer marks renowned filmmaker S Shankar’s foray into Telugu cinema. He has previously directed several commercially successful Tamil projects, including Indian, Anniyan, Sivaji: The Boss, Enthiran, and 2.0.
The film also stars Kiara Advani, Anjali, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, Jayaram, and Samuthirakani in key roles. Produced by Dil Raju under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations, it was released in theatres on Friday (January 10, 2025), coinciding with the joyous occasion of Sankranthi.
