The official notice for postponing the exam due to Pongal was released on January 13. The official notice said, "The National Testing Agency has received a representation to postpone the UGC-NET December 2024 examination on January 15, 2025, due to Pongal, Makar Sankranti and other festivals."
Exam of which subject on which date?
As per the revised schedule, examinations for the following subjects will be conducted on January 21 in the morning shift (9 am to 12 noon): Indian Knowledge Systems, Malayalam, Urdu, Labour Welfare/Personal Management/Industrial Relations/Labour and Social Welfare/Human Resource Management, Criminology, Tribal and Regional Languages/Literature, Folk Literature, Konkani and Environmental Science.
Exams for the following subjects will be conducted on January 27 in the evening shift (3 to 6 pm): Sanskrit, Mass Communication and Journalism, Japanese, Performing Arts - Dance/Drama/Theatre, Electronic Science, Women Studies, Law and Nepali.
