Today, Tuesday, marks the second day of the Maha Kumbh 2025. On the auspicious occasion of Amrit Snan, a massive gathering of devotees can be seen at the Maha Kumbh. Amidst this, Sadhvi Harsha has become the center of attention and is going viral. While she is being called the "most beautiful Sadhvi in the world," she has rejected the label of a sanyasi, stating, "Who said I’ve taken sanyaas?"

The Maha Kumbh 2025 began in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday, January 13. On the first day, 1.5 crore devotees gathered to take a holy dip on Paush Purnima. Many international devotees also attended, but the spotlight fell on a woman named Sadhvi Harsha, celebrated for her beauty.

Pictures of Sadhvi Harsha Richaria from the Maha Kumbh have surfaced on social media, quickly going viral. She shared her journey from a glamorous world to her current path. However, Harsha clarified that she does not consider herself a Sadhvi. "I’ve been labeled as a 'Sadhvi' on social media, but that’s not entirely correct. I haven’t fully embraced this life yet, nor have I received formal permission to do so," she explained.

What Did Harsha Say About Renouncing the World?

When asked about becoming a sanyasi, she said, "Who said I’ve taken sanyaas? When devotion fills your heart, you can adapt to any form. I’ve wanted to take on this (Sanyasi) form for two years, but my professional commitments delayed it. Now that I have the opportunity, I’ve embraced it."

"I Was Already Viral"

Responding to claims that she adopted this attire to gain attention, Harsha Richaria firmly stated, "I don’t need to go viral; I’m already quite well-known across the country. I’ve gone viral more than ten times before. This is my belief, and I want to live the way I feel is right." She also commented on the youth, saying, "Today’s young generation is becoming more conscious of their religion and culture."

Harsha is affiliated with the Niranjani Akhara and is a disciple of Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kelashanandagiri Ji Maharaj.

Why Did She Leave the Glamorous World?

Reflecting on her decision to leave a glamorous lifestyle, Harsha remarked, "Some things are predestined. Our past deeds and previous lives shape the outcomes we experience today. Life takes unexpected turns as determined by fate. I’ve hosted shows in India and abroad, anchored, and acted. But for the past one and a half years, I’ve been deeply engaged in spiritual practices. I’ve left my old life behind and am thoroughly enjoying this new path. I find immense peace in my sadhana."
