Check linked devices:

Open your WhatsApp app on your phone.

Tap on the three dots in the upper right corner.

Select "Linked Devices" from the dropdown menu.

Here, you will see a list of devices currently accessing your account. If you see an unfamiliar device, remove it immediately.

Confirm OTP messages:

If someone has tried to tamper with your account, you may receive an OTP (one-time password) via SMS. Check your SMS inbox for any such messages.

Review your contact list:

If you see any unfamiliar or unknown contacts in your WhatsApp account, it is important to remove them immediately. These could be signs of suspicious activity.
