In the interview Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi revealed during a conversation with Simi Grewal that he never watched films a habit that didn’t change even after falling in love with actress Sharmila Tagore. Speaking about their relationship he admitted that he wasn’t familiar with Sharmila Tagore’s work as an actress before falling for her. Sharmila further shared that Mansoor only recognized Vyjayanthimala and Meena Kumari in the film industry and admired them. In the same interview Sharmila revealed that despite meeting her Mansoors interest in films didn’t ignite. She said that once she and Mansoor went to watch Mere Humdum Mere Dost but the cricketer walked out of the film midway because he lost interest. The Aradhana actress also shared in this conversation that she was already a cricket fan. Even though she didn’t understand much about the game she loved watching cricket.
