Digital Arrest: These days, scam cases have increased a lot. By digitally arresting people, thugs have stolen lakhs of rupees from them. Meanwhile, a video has surfaced where a family narrowly escaped being cheated.

Digital Arrest: You must have heard about digital arrest, in which you will receive a video or audio call. In this, the person on the other end gives the news of the arrest of a family member or his accident. This is where the work of these thugs starts. A similar case was shared on social media. In the shared video, it can be seen that the family has received a call from the profile of a policeman. This family too recognized the trick of the scammer and fooled him.

Call came from a pakistan number

People are often warned that if they receive a call from a foreign number, it could be a scam. But still, scammers trap innocent people in their net. A similar case was shared by a user named Shiv Arora on Instagram. He wrote that he received a call on WhatsApp from a Pakistani number. The number had a display picture of a police officer. The caller claimed that his son had been arrested. Money was demanded to release him.

It can be seen in the video that the scammer asks what is the name of your son, can I make you talk to him? On this, Shiv Arora cleverly tells him his own name. The scammer insists on Shiv to let him talk to the boy's mother. On this, he hands over the phone to a woman saying that the police have arrested Shiva.

The scammer started crying pretending to be a son.

As soon as the scammer heard the woman's voice, he said your son wants to talk to you. After this, another person starts crying saying Mumma-Mumma. Hearing this, all the family members start laughing. The scammer realizes that the family has recognized his trick, after which he disconnects the phone. People are constantly being warned about such calls so that they can avoid these scams.
