Uttarakhand Road Accident: A tragic accident took place in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. Here on Wednesday morning, a roadways bus full of passengers suddenly met with an accident. It is being told that due to steering failure the bus lost control and fell into the ditch. There were about 30 passengers in the bus. Seeing the bus falling, there was screaming among the passengers. More than 5 people have been injured in the accident. He is undergoing treatment. At the same time, other passengers are safe.
According to media reports, bus number (UK 7 PA 4177) was going from Jakhol to Dehradun in the morning. Meanwhile, near Sunkundi village, suddenly the bus driver lost control due to which the bus went down the road. However, it was fortunate that the bus got stuck on the platform below, otherwise an untoward incident could have happened.
While talking to the media, DM Meharban Singh Bisht said that as soon as the information about the accident was received, the police and health department team reached the spot. All the injured were immediately sent to the hospital. He said that the injured are undergoing treatment. Other passengers are safe. The causes of the accident will be investigated.
According to the police, driver Devpal Khatri told that there was a pothole on the road. To ensure that the leash does not break early in the morning, he took a short break. After this some sound came from the steering. Then the steering got locked. He had no other option but to hit the brakes. As soon as he hit the brakes, the bus overturned. It was good that the place where he took a break. Someone had dug a field nearby for the construction of a building. The bus overturned and stopped in that digging area. The driver told that the bus is new. Not even 4 lakh kilometers have been driven yet.
