Bhooth Bangla starring Akshay Kumar is undoubtedly one of the most awaited upcoming films. The movie is currently in production and it is being directed by Priyadarshan. Akshay and Priyadarshan have worked together in movies like Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhag, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, De Dana Dan, and Khatta Meetha. In Hera Pheri, Tabu was the female lead, and now, the trio (Akshay, Tabu, Priyadarshan) have teamed up Bhoot Bangla. A few days ago, Tabu had announced that she is a part of the film while sharing the picture of the clapboard. She had posted, "Hum yahan bandh hain."Now, today, the makers of Bhooth Bangla has shared a picture of Akshay Kumar and Tabu from the sets and they are seen hugging each other in the photo. Balaji Motion Pictures shared the image and wrote, "Some things get better and iconic with time! @priyadarshan.official , @akshaykumar and @tabutiful are back in action after 25 years for #BhoothBangla in Jaipur."Well, fans are surely very excited to watch Tabu and Akshay Kumar together in Bhooth Bangla. But, with this trio coming together again, the expectations are also quite high now. Hera Pheri was a remake of the Malayalam movie Ramji Rao Speaking, and it was a hit at the box office. Over the years, the movie has received a cult status, and many comedy of error genre films are compared to Hera Pheri. Bhooth Bangla is a horror-comedy, but of course, with Akshay, Tabu and Priyadarshan coming together it will be compared to Hera Pheri and also to Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Akshay and Priyadarshan had teamed up for Bhool Bhulaiyaa which was a horror-comedy, and interestingly, Tabu was a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Bhooth Bangla also stars Paresh Rawal in a pivotal who portrayed the character of Babu Bhaiya in the Hera Pheri. So, of course, this reunion is something everyone is looking forward to. Bhoot Bangla is slated to released on 2nd April 2025, and it also features Wamiqa Gabbi.
