Darshan celebrates Sankranti with his family after bail in Renukaswamy murder case

Kannada actor Darshan , who was granted conditional bail in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case , took to Instagram for the first time since his arrest in June 2025 and share a post. Marking the occasion of Sankranthi, Darshan celebrated the festival with his family on his farm in Mysuru. In his Instagram post, he wished his followers a joyous Makara Sankranthi , extending heartfelt greetings to the people of Karnataka. In his message, written in Kannada, Darshan expressed his hopes for happiness and prosperity for everyone. He wrote, “Happy Makara Sankranthi to all the people of the state. Let the kites of happiness soar high in all your lives. I wish for prosperity and happiness for everyone. Let’s welcome Makara Sankranthi with ‘Ellu Bellu’ and with new hope.” He also shared a picture of himself with his beloved horse, reflecting his love for animals, which his followers appreciated.

Darshan spent the festival surrounded by his wife Vijayalaxmi, son Vinish, brother Dinakar, and other family members on his Mysuru farm . The photos from the celebration, where Darshan appeared to enjoy a peaceful and happy moment with his loved ones, have since gone viral, bringing joy to his fans amidst the ongoing legal controversy. Despite his legal troubles, the actor continues to receive support from his fans as he navigates through this difficult period.

On the professional front, Darshan had been working on the film 'Devil: The Hero' before his arrest and the teaser of the film released on his birthday.
