Ranji Trophy: Maharashtra To Face Baroda In Nashik From January 23

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will organise a four-day Ranji Trophy match between Maharashtra and Baroda at Hutatma Anant Kanhere Maidan (Golf Club Ground) in Nashik from January 23 to 26. Preparations for the match have been initiated under the guidance of Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) Commissioner Manisha Khatri, who also inspected the venue to ensure all arrangements are in place.

The NMC commissioner reviewed the pitch, pavilion hall, dressing rooms for both teams and other facilities, expressing satisfaction with the readiness of the ground. She assured full support from the NMC for the event. The inspection was accompanied by former Nashik District Cricket Association chairman Vilas Lonari, current chairman Vinod Shah, City Engineer Sanjay Agarwal, Sachin Jadhav, and Nitin Rajput.

Opportunity to witness top cricketers play

Fans will have the chance to see some renowned cricketers during the match, including India's international cricketer and Maharashtra team captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and Baroda captain Krunal Pandya. Nashik's left-arm spinner and all-rounder Satyajit Bacchav and promising young player Arshin Kulkarni are also part of the Maharashtra team.

This match marks the 11th Ranji Trophy game to be played in Nashik, promising an exciting experience for cricket enthusiasts in the city.
