Actor Saif Ali Khan recently became a victim of a burglary when an unidentified man broke into his Bandra home and reportedly stabbed him. According to media reports Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times with a sharp weapon at 2: 30 am on Thursday. He was immediately taken to Lilavati Hospital where he was advised to a minor surgery. His team recently shared an update on his health. Saif Ali Khan is out of danger but being monitored say doctors Recently Saif Ali Khans team released a statement confirming that the actor is out of surgery and is doing well now. Currently his health is being monitored by Dr. Niraj Uttamani Dr. Nitin Dange Dr Leena Jain and the team at Lilavati Hospital. The statement read Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery and the doctors are monitoring his progress. According to the Mumbai police an unknown man broke into Saifs house early in the morning and had a heated conversation with his maid. When Saif tried to take control of the heated discussion the man instantly attacked him leaving him with injuries. The police are currently investigating the incident. However there has been no official statement given by the Mumbai police. The police have filed an FIR and deployed several teams to capture the suspect. According to media reports Kareena Kapoor Taimur and Jehangir are safe. Recently Kareena Kapoors team also released a statement that read There was an attempted burglary in Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khans residence last night. Saif had an injury on his arm for which he is in the hospital undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine. We request media and fans to be patient and not speculate any further as the Police are already doing their due investigations (sic). After doing the initial investigation the Mumbai police have yet to give detailed information about the attempted burglary at Saif Ali Khans house. Based on the reports of agencies Saif Ali Khan was sleeping with his wife Kareena and their children. The burglar broke into the house and reportedly stabbed Saif. By the time the family members woke up the burglar escaped from the house. Now the Mumbai Police is looking for the suspect.
