Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Indore Development Authority (IDA) has initiated a major revenue-generating drive by selling and allotting vacant plots and flats across its various schemes. This move comes after the conclusion of the Adhik Maas period, which is traditionally considered inauspicious for property purchases.
On Wendesday, IDA issued tenders for residential, commercial, and institutional plots to accelerate development and boost revenue for city projects. The revenue generated through these sales will be reinvested into key city development projects, such as constructing flyovers, improving public amenities, and expanding infrastructure.
In addition to property sales, the IDA has launched feasibility surveys for a few new flyovers and is exploring innovative projects, including cable cars and other development. IDA CEO RP Ahirwar said that these efforts aim to enhance the city's infrastructure, drive economic growth, and meet the region’s evolving urban development needs.
